Skateboarding stories.

I had the chance to paint this beautiful vintage bus located at my local skatepark in Spain, Skate Agora, where they host every year the Street League contest.
For those of you who aren’t into skateboarding, the Street League is like the SuperBowl of skate and turns out that one of the 5 stops of the World tour (2 in Europe, 3 in USA) is in my neighborhood.

The artwork that I worked on is inspired in different stages of skateboarding: exploring, slamming, pushing… slamming again.
Four characters showing each of these features in one side and a perfect kickflip over a tree on the other side, like the evolution of the skater and all the struggle and determination behind it.

Not a big fan of Street League or anything related with the mainstream transformation of skateboarding but that’s a different story. This project wasn’t directly related with it, just with the local park but I gotta say that I’m happy to have had the best riders and friends from all around the world having fun in my neighborhood.

Many thanks to Montana Colors and Skate Agora for supporting this, I’ve been wanting to paint this bus since the first time I saw it in the park and it’s always cool to play at home!
