Welcome to Bahrain.
My first time here, a special tiny country at the beginning of the Gulf. Very interesting history behind this little piece of land: it used to be called Dilmun, one of the biggest trade centers of the Persian Gulf from 4000 BC to 800 BC, with lots of traffic from all over the World and an important source of copper and sweet water also. According to mythology, Dilmun was a sacred place where some described it as a garden paradise, and it even may have been an inspiration for the Garden of Eden story. Time goes by, and now Bahrain is basically a desert like all these countries over here, but they still have some beautiful forts and museums, and even some kind of magic vibe I would say, that takes you to what was going on in this country a few millenniums back.
I felt really good since the moment I landed here, people are really chilled and humble in general and food is great.
Ready to work on a very special project with Al Riwaq Art Space for The Nest Art Festival.
